Scenario One – Advertising Direct Sales

A consumer receives a mailer offering various deals from a restaurant that offers delivery. Noticing the Apitap data code next to each coupon, the consumer opens their Apitap application and makes the purchase of their desired meal special. Address info is automatically supplied by Apitap at the time of the transaction to be submitted to the restaurant based on the user account profile. The order is paid for at the time of ordering through Apitap so that when it is delivered, the food is simply handed to the consumer without the need for the driver to carry mobile card authorization devices or funds, providing a safer environment for delivery drivers.

Scenario Two – Promotions and Encouraging Sales

A restaurant notices a drop in business during a specific time frame daily. In order to encourage traffic, they use the loyalty system within Apitap to push a promotion to consumers within a one-mile radius around the restaurant during those hours announcing that they are having a special offer available. The advertisements and offers system is totally open ended for creation and allows the merchant to create whatever form of promotion they wish, with whatever conditions they desire.

Scenario Three – Repeat Loyalty Business

A restaurant wishes to encourage business by offering their customers a rewards membership club to drive repeat business. By using the Apitap platform, the restaurant is able to focus offers to customers who have purchased certain goods or amounts. The restaurant can use participation in their rewards membership club to target coupons and promotions directly to their consumers.

Scenario Four – Ordering Convenience

The restaurant has a drive-thru window and has a busy walk up business during lunch hours. Many times, with the high volume during these hours, the restaurant may lose business due to consumers not being able to wait or because orders are missed or made incorrectly. By using Apitap as an automated system for taking orders, the restaurant is able to process more orders at once. Because the consumer is entering the order directly, there is reduced chance for something being wrong. Customers simply arrive at the window or counter and present their completed order number for pick-up. Once verified the customer receives the food and is able to leave without any of the traditional waiting.

Scenario Five – Self Service Ordering

The restaurant, in an effort to make things easier for their wait staff, has created menus with Apitap data codes associated with not only individual products but also the specific table where a customer is sitting. When the customer sits down at the table they open the menu, turn on their Apitap application, and proceed to scan their individual items for purchase. Once chosen, the consumer completes the order and submits it to the restaurant’s front counter for them to prepare. Once the order is complete the wait staff just brings the order out to the table indicated on the ticket.
